Road Legal vs. Course-Only Buggies
A common mistake is assuming any golf buggy can be driven on public roads. In Spain, vehicles must meet specific safety standards to leave private property.
Standard Golf Carts
These are designed for golf courses and private estates. They lack the homologation and safety equipment (headlights, indicators, seatbelts and approved brakes) needed for public roads.
Road Legal Buggies
To drive to the supermarket, beach or clubhouse via public streets, you need a road legal vehicle. Our Z2, R2 and Z4 are EEC homologated road legal models with all the safety features Spanish law requires, so you can drive them on public roads once registered.
Registration and the ITV in Spain (Made Simple)
Registering a vehicle and getting it through the ITV (Inspección Técnica de Vehículos) can be time-consuming if you do it yourself.

- Four seats: the road legal Z4, or the E2+2 utility buggy for private land.
Our E2 and E2+2 utility buggies are not road legal and are designed for golf courses, resorts and private estates.
